About

A journal, not a funnel.

Incorporator.org is an independent editorial authority on forming a U.S. company. We cover all fifty states, the services that file for you, and the mechanics of staying compliant after day one.

Why we exist

The formation category is overrun with landing pages built to sell registered-agent subscriptions. Good information is buried under upsell gates. We write plainly, cite the statutes, and publish the model numbers behind every AI-assisted draft. If a fee changed last week, we update the page this week.

How we sound

Like a former corporate attorney who is tired of the upsells. Specific, calm, and footnoted. If we cannot verify a stat, we remove it.

How we make money

Tasteful affiliate links, editorially walled off. Rankings are locked before we reach out to any partner. Nothing on this site is pay-to-rank. The mechanics are documented in our affiliate disclosure and our methodology.

Contact

Corrections, tips, and rights requests go to our contact page. If you are a service we cover, you are welcome to send factual corrections — we will not accept rankings feedback.
